Gather

At Calvary Day School, we foster connections through events like the Good Shepherds Roundtable, Men's Bible Study, Moms In Prayer, and the Parent Programs. These gatherings offer fellowship, support, and shared learning experiences for our community, promoting spiritual growth and unity.

    Good Shepherds Roundtable -

The Good Shepherd Roundtable was born out of Calvary Day Schools' commitment to educating the children of local pastors. Our inaugural event was designed to educate the local pastoral community about our biblical curriculum while showing them how we integrate Christ into every aspect of the educational process. Moving forward, the Good Shepherd Roundtable will be an opportunity for local pastors to fellowship, discuss ideas, and build relationships that will help strengthen and spread hope within our community. Calvary Day School will host two Good Shepherd events each year (one in the fall and one in the spring). We will invite a guest speaker annually to pour into the pastors in attendance. If you have a heart to give back to the local pastors who serve our community, please contact Scepter Brownlee, sbrownlee@calvarydayschool.com, for more information.

  • Parent Programs

    Parent Programs (Identity Series)

Welcome to the 2nd Annual “Identity in Christ” Series!

Definition: The Identity series is designed to help identify and understand the complex issues that confront young people today and to arm parents with the information and tools to navigate these issues with their children. Many of our students are trying to figure out “Who am I?” versus “Whose Am I?” Our goal at Calvary is to partner with you to provide knowledge that will initiate thought-provoking questions for you and your children and surround you with a community of support as you walk through this phase of life.

How and Why: The topics within the series will help your child open up and talk about the challenges they face. Additionally, we will bring in experts to help you understand how to navigate these topics with your child. During the separate sessions for parents and students, we will provide resources and opportunities for discussion. Parent meetings will be by grade level, with each session lasting approximately one hour, including a Q&A session. Meetings will take place in the evenings from 6 -7 p.m. at Calvary Day School, with childcare provided. Student meetings will be held during the school day and divided by gender and grade level. All material was created with the help of the Orange Curriculum, Parent Cue, and local pastors.

    Schedule: Parents meet Thursday Nights from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Month 1: September 7, 2023 Topic: Identity in Christ
    Month 2- November 2, 2023 Topic: Gratitude & Hope
Month 3- February 8, 2024 Topic: Mental Health- Addiction
